Hydrangea paniculata 'Pastel Green’
‘Pastel Green’ has less of a defined pinnacle flower head for Hydrangea paniculatas, and reminds me of other Hydrangeas such as serrula or Vilosa. A ring of medium size sterile flowers surround the fertile flowers. So fab when the white flowers begin to turn pink!
paniculata offers many variants, most are absolutely brilliant medium sized, upright growing deciduous shrub with slightly glossy ovate leaves. Masses of large flowers, that bloom in the second half of Summer for weeks and weeks, with distinctive white or creamy white conical flower heads made up of two sizes flowers, small fertile flowers and larger sterile flowers typical of Hydrangea.
