These trees also known as Bull Bay are the ideal evergreen tree to screen your garden and house from neighbours or unwanted views. These semi mature trees in the Italian nursery have been trained to from up on neat stem, and encouraged to bush out to form a near pyramid shape bush. They make great stand alone trees or can be grown as the most grand hedge. Their evergreen leaves make them ideal for screening unwanted views, or just to give you more privacy. The canopies of these trees can be pruned, only once a year is necessary to be kept an agreeable shape and size.
When grown as a bush, they are often seen on the side of Stately homes, such as HRH Prince Charles' Highgrove House. Magnolia grandiflora is a medium sized bushy tree, with large evergreen leathery leaves that look similar to Cherry Laurel. However their leaves have a brown under leaf that makes it very distinctive. grandiflora have enormous white flowers that bloom through Summer in to Autumn. Can be grown as a stand alone tree or grown against a large house or wall.
