Title: Default Title

Salvia is genus of plant with hundreds of species of herbaceous, sub shrubs and shrubs. Size can be very small and tender plants to quite large and hardy too, but all have that very distinctive flower and strong leaf smell that is Sage. Amistad is a very large and hardy Salvia, a sub shrub that can grow as tall as 1.5m and the same across, so it needs to be planted away from the from of the bed like you would a medium sized shrub. It has large flowers for Salvia, bursting out of black bud covers in to the deepest purple. Amistad continues to re bloom right in to mid Autumn, after beginning in Summer. It is very rewarding and giving plant, its only draw back is it is quite susceptible to slugs and snails In Spring.
